Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference in a private tour vs. open farm? During our private tours you have a tour guide that will introduce you to all of the animals on the property and then you are welcome to go back to your favorites. This is a more intimate time with the animals. If you want to cuddle cows the whole time, you are also welcome to do that. During open farm, you will also meet all of the animals however, it is much busier, so you have less time one on one with them. There is usually some wait time to lay with the cows.

2. Do I need to purchase tickets in advance? Tickets can be purchased at the gate, but we recommend buying them online to avoid long lines during peak hours.

3. Can I bring a stroller? You are welcome to bring a stroller however, we encourage you to leaved it in the picnic area while touring the farm. Our animals will look for snacks in the stroller.

4. Are dogs or other pets allowed on the farm? No, unless they are service animals. Service dogs-are allowed in the picnic area only. For the safety of your animal and ours, we do not allow service dogs on the back field. We can discuss this further on a case-by-case basis. We will do our best to accommodate.

5. What should I wear? We encourage pants and close-toed shoes. Also, wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

6. Can I bring food/drinks on the farm? During private tours you are welcome to bring a picnic and drinks. We do have light snacks and sodas/water for sale in the shop. For open farm, we often have a food truck and drinks, in the event we do not, you are welcome to bring food and drinks.

7. Can I host a birthday party or special event at the farm? Absolutely! We offer packages for birthday parties and special events. Please visit our website for more information or to book.

8. Is the farm accessible for individuals with disabilities? Yes, we strive to make our farm accessible to everyone. We do have an ADA compliant porta-potty on the property. We have had wheelchairs go back on the farm without any problems. I would not suggest you come when the ground is muddy. Please contact us in advance for specific accommodations.

9. Are there any special events or activities throughout the year? Yes, we host seasonal events such as Pumpkin Patch Days, Holiday Celebrations, and more. Check our events calendar for upcoming activities.

10. Can I bring food for the animals? We do not allow food for the animals during open farm. Our animals love treats but it can be overwhelming when they are all surrounding you for snacks. We do allow this during private tours only.

11. Can I volunteer or intern at the petting farm? We welcome volunteers! Please check our website for more information on opportunities and how to apply.

12. I bought open farm tickets online and can no longer come, can I get a refund? We do not give refunds; however, you are welcome to come on another open farm day. This applies to inclement weather as well.
