Calvary Farms' Outreach is a Non-Profit 501 (c)(3), family owned farm, located just 10 minutes outside SE San Antonio in Adkins, TX. Our mission is to provide sanctuary for animals in need, create animal education opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, and promote mental well-being through interactive animal experiences and connection with nature on the farm. We have over 100 animals that are primarily owner surrenders and rescues, that will spend the rest of their days receiving the love and care they deserve on our farm. We do not eat any of our animals, they are family. Care Farming • Community • Connection • Mental Health At Calvary Farms, we utilize a Care Farming model to support mental health, personal growth, and community well-being through meaningful interaction with animals, nature, and purposeful work. Care Farming recognizes the therapeutic value of nature-based routines, relationships, and responsibility—creating space for healing, learning, and belonging. As we look toward 2026, we are committed to expanding this model to serve our community more deeply and intentionally to include expansion of our volunteer program, respite hours for first responders, healthcare workers and educators, internships for neurodivergent youth, and classes that support implementation of eco-friendly and natural practices in the home, gardening, life skills, and animal husbandry. ✅ Visit Calvary Farms We do not have regular public hours. Instead, we host a variety of limited-ticket events, sensory farm days, educational programs, internships, and field trips for people of all ages and abilities. We also host small group visits, sensory friendly birthday parties, team building events, and private farm tours. Our goal is to provide a place of respite, and connection, while maintaining a low-stimulation environment for our animals and guests.
